ISSN: 1530-4334 I attended Coaching 2000 last week and it was amazing. I saw familiar faces, met some new friends and rejuvenated my Spirit! The speakers were terrific and I will share their wisdom with you in future editions of The Bright Side. I am still assimilating all the information so that I can take to heart all that I learned. Wow. I love being in the midst of all that talent! I hope this finds each one of you doing well, becoming inspired and sharing your unique talents with others! With Love, Life can change in an instant. A friend from coaching received a call yesterday from his wife saying that her car had broken down. She had no cell phone but managed to call from a gas station to let him know. He was on his way out the door to help her when her car started working again. She said she would be home soon. This was at 3 PM. Click. Hang up. The end. Only she didn't show up. Hours passed and passed. Can you imagine what was going through this mans head wondering what had happened? Every gruesome scenario in the world must go through your mind when this happens. The story doesn't have a happy ending but it certainly could have been worse. She was kidnapped from the gas station and then robbed and abused. She finally arrived back home 12 hours after her ordeal began. She escaped without being raped or severely injured in a physical way but the emotional trauma will take some time to heal. When I hear of these chilling stories, it just makes me want to grab my loved ones and let them know how important they are to me. It makes me want to say "I love you" a little more often. It makes me want to hug a friend, send a card, make a phone call and get rid of any reluctance to say, "I was wrong. I am sorry." Monumental changes happen quickly. In an instant, we are often faced with difficult choices and the consequences that come from them, both good and bad. It's summer. Take advantage of the slower
pace. Enjoy a vacation with This is a simple message but such an important

instant. That's the message for this week. Simple, to the point, and I hope you will take it to heart.
