Who is Beth Burns?

Just as serious athletes have coaches, so do successful people. My
philosophy is to look at the bright side of life in all respects. I find
that quite often our resistance to change keeps us from fully living the
life we deserve. I want people to live an AUTHENTIC life that they love. It
is a positive outlook and deliberate actions that help one adjust to new
situations and conquer many of the fears that accompany transitions. From
that respect, I often consider myself as a catalyst for change in others
lives so that they can move closer to experiencing lasting fulfillment.

What makes me qualified to coach people on these issues? Well, life in
general basically (but I do have other qualifications ... read on!). Sooner
or later something happens in our lives that forces us to look at how we are
living. When this happens our perceptions change and we are different from
that moment on. I have had that type of change in my life on a few occasions
and have learned that it is possible come out stronger and healthier each
time. It is a positive attitude and outlook that has helped me adjust to new
situations and conquer many of the fears that come along with transitions.
It is learned behavior and it is a choice.

I am a lifelong learner and student of human personality. I attended the
University of Tennessee and I am a Coach University 1999 graduate

(www.coachu.com ), the leading coaching training
program in the world. I have been a member of the International Coach
Federation (www.coachfederation.org ), the umbrella organization that regulates the coaching profession, since 1998.  I am very honored to be an ICF Conference Chair 2002-2004.  I am completely and happily immersed in the coaching world.

~*~*~

When I am not coaching and writing, I am married to a wonderful, caring man who enjoys spending time with my three amazing kids who are ages 21, 18 and 16. We live in the Atlanta area and I am fortunate to be able to travel and see different parts of the world too. I love sharing my life with close friends and colleagues -- having fun is a huge need of mine!  :-)  I enjoy sports, reading, cooking, and walking and swimming laps, just to name a few things. Obviously, there is much more to who I am but this should give you a glimpse into the things I value.

You can learn more about who I am and my work by checking out my other websites The Inner Peace Project  (www.InnerPeaceProject.com) and Peace Retreats (www.peaceretreats.com).

Essentially, you need to know that I am passionate about my life and my
work!  I love to support people who are motivated to make substantial
changes in life, career and in relationships with others. The purpose of my
life is to teach others to love themselves and to love their life.  In my
work as a coach and in my personal life, that's exactly what I do.

Call me and let's talk about YOUR life!  You can reach me at (404) 550-9088.
